In 2022 I am going to be putting a of time and effort into providing this online service to help other keen photographers improve their work and pursue their goals. Whether that is photography as a career, or just having a better understanding of the process and creating better images, I’ll be using online services to help you out.

One of the most difficult parts of getting this up and running was finding a suitable platform to deliver what I needed, I have gone back and forth through many of the options and decided that a Patreon page is the best solution.

On my Patreon page I already have 11 exclusive Post Processing video tutorials, with a few images to download so that you can practise/follow along on the edits! I also have GPS locations and directions available for two of my popular images, which I will be swapping out for different locations once every two months.
Subscribers will have access to all of this content as well as early access and discounted rates for all of my workshops. I’ll be providing 1 on 1 support, prioritising messaging and assisting subscribers on Patreon with anything photography or business related.
I’ll be sharing a MINIMUM of 9 new pieces of educational/informative content on the page over each 12-month period, I hope to share even more than this but that is just a starting point. The content will be anything from post processing tutorials or other photography tips, to sharing how I make an income from landscape photography.

I believe this is the way forward as it will allow you to access the information whenever you want and wherever you are. Workshops are great, but I understand that travel, timing with other commitments, and the costs are a barrier for many people so here is my solution.

I’ll be relying on subscriber feedback to fine-tune and make this service as beneficial as possible.

Southwest Photography Adventure

New Dates: August 9th - 11th

From lush woodland to world-class coastline, the Southwest is a photographers paradise.

There is no doubt that the Southwest is one of the best areas for landscape photography within a reasonable distance from Perth. As a result of this many photographers often head South for a weekend, but have you noticed most people constantly just visit and photograph the same iconic locations over and over? Most of the popular areas have been photographed so many times that it is almost impossible to come back with anything truly unique, but luckily the entire southwest coastline is filled with photographic gems waiting to be discovered.

I'd had enough of going to the same locations every time, and that's where the idea for a workshop with a completely unique itinerary came from. On this 3-4 day trip I will have a full itinerary of beautiful southwest scenery to photograph, where none of the other photo tours are going. Some of the locations will challenge your creativity and you will need to come up with new compositions that haven't been seen before, whilst others are easier to photograph but take that little bit of extra effort to get to.

We'll base ourselves in Dunsborough, just 3hrs South of Perth. This workshop is suitable for photographers of any skill level. From complete beginners, to the little more advanced. We will be hiking and rock hopping to get to some of the locations for this workshop, a reasonable amount fitness is required. You also must be stable on your feet as we will be walking across a lot of uneven ground.

Perth Astrophotography Workshops (seasonal)

No doubt one of the most popular workshops that I hold. We are incredibly lucky to have such dark skies in Western Australia and it is no surprise that many wish to photograph those stars!
But Astrophotography doesn't come with out it's challenges. Weather is a determining factor of a successful astro shoot.

With that in mind, I don't often organise astro workshops too far in advance. Instead, I ask you to fill out the Astrophotography EOI form to let me know you are interested - and then I will contact you when the forecast is promising!

I have spent the last quarter of my life completely engrossed in photography. As a self-taught photographer, day in and out I research, and put into action techniques for creating captivating images. I want to share that with you.

As a specialised landscape photographer I can assist you in your own personal endeavours through what I have learned. There are absolutely no secrets kept in my photography workshops, and that's how I believe it should be.

I offer small group workshops(up to 6 participants), and online learning via Patreon.
